Jen Hasik grew up in Columbia, SC and after moving to Charlotte, NC for college, received her massage education the Southeastern Institute of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy in 2007. She has practiced and specialized in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, Trigger Point Massage and Myofascial Release for 15+ years.

In 2019, Jen graduated from Greenville Tech with an Associates in Applied Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant. However, her first love has always been bodywork and after a year and a half of practice in the medical world, decided to start her first solely owned business, The Body Mechanic GVL in September of 2021 as a mobile massage clinic.

Her focus in her work continues to be that of structural integration, treating and educating her clientele on postural corrections to alleviate pain and discomfort from poor postural patterns, instructing them on strengthening and stretching techniques to achieve postural balance.
